Shared memories often make you want to continue the conversation. A question, a more personal reaction, a detail you would rather keep between close friends: not everything belongs in a public comment.
Reminiscio now includes private messages between friends so you can chat directly from the app.
Conversations from the Friends tab
Messaging is available from the Friends tab. A button at the bottom of the screen lets you move from the shared memories feed to the Messages view, then back again whenever you want.
The list shows your available friends, even if no conversation has started yet. That makes it possible to open a chat in a few seconds, without hunting for an action inside a profile.
A simple direct chat
Inside a conversation, the interface stays deliberately quiet:
- messages are grouped by day;
- bubbles clearly separate your messages from your friend's;
- the composer remains available at the bottom;
- older messages can load progressively.
The goal is to stay fast and readable, with just what is needed to send a text message to someone close.
Keep control of your messages
You can also edit or delete your own messages after sending them. A long press on one of your bubbles opens the available actions, so you can correct a typo or remove a message if needed.
This first version lays the foundation for private messaging in Reminiscio: simple, friend-centered, and designed to naturally extend shared memories.
