When you add a photo to a memory, the right date is not always today. It may come from a trip, a night out or an older moment that you want to place exactly where it belongs in your story.
On mobile and desktop, Reminiscio can read the photo capture date when it is available in the file.
How it works
Most devices store technical information in photos, known as EXIF metadata. It can include the original capture date.
Reminiscio looks for that information while preparing the image. For a memory with several photos, Reminiscio uses the earliest valid capture date. If a reliable date is found, it is suggested as the memory date.
You stay in control
The detected date is never forced. Before publishing, keep it, choose another date or return to today. If the photo contains no usable date, the flow simply continues without a suggestion.
An older photo can land at the right point in your timeline immediately, without unnecessary manual setup.
